Salt

Exploration in progress of the Salt Way, an ancient trade route leading from the brine seeps and salt manufacturies of Droitwich (the Roman "Salinae") to the southeast. Under pressure from developers, what remains of the route passes to the south of Banbury. I will be exploring salt glazing using Droitwich salt and local wild clays -- an exploration of the hyper-local.
